General Safety Advice

For those of you with medical conditions please consult your Doctor before tight lacing your corset.

Waist Training is not suitable for teenagers or adults who are still developing.

Keep garments out of the reach of children, although these corsets are manufactured to a very high standard they are made from small components which over time may come loose. The faux crystals are glue on, lacing can be removed and eyelets may come loose. These all pose a choking hazard for children, some of the materials that the corsets are made from are flammable; do not smoke in the corset.

Satin polyester can be an irritant, for people with sensitive skin we strongly recommend you purchase a garment with a cotton lining. If you notice any form of rash or change in skin colour then please remove the garment straight away and consult a doctor.

If you change your mind

If you change your mind, we offer a refund or exchange on all products providing you have successfully submitted a returns request on the Corset Story website within 14 days of you receiving your order. If your Product is defective or arrives faulty

In the unlikely event that any of our products arrive damaged or are faulty, please send details including a photograph of the defective item to us by clicking this link Contact us Page. Do not set up an “Online Return”, Customer Services are trained to resolve such issues quickly and professionally.

 

Returns Charges

If you have received a garment which you believe to be faulty please Contact our Customer Services team by using this link. Providing images of defective items is extremely helpful for our Product Development team and our Production Line Managers.

If you wish to return items for any other reason the cost of returns shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We do have dedicated returns addresses in the following countries to minimize shipping costs for our fans.

Exchanging Designs

Popular designs can sell out very quickly. We cannot reserve designs for our customers hoping to exchange items until such time as;

  1. The Return order has been received in our warehouse
  2. We have received and verified a return reference/Tracking number from you

To avoid disappointment it may be prudent to place a new order through your Corset Story account for the desired items and return the order you have for a “Refund”.

 

Receiving your Refund

When we process your refund you will receive funds as follows:

  • If you made the payment by card, we will refund you on the same payment card (Once the refund has been processed funds leave Corset Story’s account instantly, please allow 3-5 working days to receive your funds depending on the T&C’s of your bank)
  • If you made a payment through Paypal funds will be returned to your Paypal account

If you are an international customer to the site you have purchased from and have placed your order in a foreign currency you may find the refund you receive is a slightly different value from the one debited from your card. This is due to currency fluctuations and is controlled by your card issuer.

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days after the goods come into the consumer’s possession. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. Effects of cancellation If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you the payment received from you in full (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than-

  • 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
  • 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
  • If there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement

 

Cancelling your Order before it is shipped
